The Kubler-Ross model stages of grief: Shock, Denial, Frustration, Depression, Experiment, Decision & Integration offer understanding of what an individually emotionally goes through after loss. There is loss and an emotional roller coaster that comes with rebuilding oneself after a brain injury.
